Sustainable Futures is a research project by the Coalition for Environment & Development that is looking at sustainable cultures. On the web site http://www.sustainablefutures.fi/ there is a summary article, draft report, dialogue reports and background papers. The final report will be published in Autumn 2009 by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland that has funded the project.

Finnish Social Forum 2009 was be held in Helsinki 25-26 April, and the Tampere Social Forum 16-17 May 2009. Both had sessions that contributed to the degrewth debates.
