Call for abstract, Call for papers

We call for abstracts on latest research and activities in relation with degrowth. Selection of abstracts will entitle to present papers or posters during the conference related to the abstracts. Paper sessions and a poster tour will take place during the conference and papers will be included in the printed conference proceedings. The international scientific committee will select the best of these papers for publication in a special journal issue on degrowth.

Degrowth should be explicitly dealt with within the abstract/ poster/ paper. It should not be limited to an analysis of the current situation but study and link necessary actions and transformations. The abstract/ poster/ paper should acknowledge social equity and ecological sustainability as key objectives within democratic and human rights frameworks.

An abstract of no more than 400 words should be sent to the email barcelona2010(at)degrowth.net by 10 January 2010.

Conference papers and posters dealing with latest research and creative ideas in the field will be presented in parallel sessions and exhibited in a tour the mornings of the second and third day. The poster exhibition will also provide an informal space for additional encounters and discussions among participants.
